Overview

Philip is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the European Centre for Environment and Human Health (ECEHH). His current work relates to the Caribbean Foodscapes project and focusses on the creation of a database of data collation tools and analytical methodologies used in nutrition and food security research in Caribbean small island developing states (SIDS). This database will facilitate future research in the field by making these research tools and methodologies more findable and accessible.

Philip completed his BSc (Hons) in Geography at the University of Liverpool. Following this he completed his PhD at the University of Exeter, which examined the influence of socio-economic status, area level deprivation and exposure to air pollution on asthma in childhood in England. With this background, Philip’s research interests relate to environmental epidemiology, with a focus on human health.
