Career
Medical educator since 2002
Clinical Skills Tutor on the BMBS programme (until Aug 2022) and earlier concurrent experience as an Associate lecturer in Life Sciences (Anatomy) . Involved in teaching and assessing communication, examination and procedural skills, and in the delivery of the ILS course (resuscitation skills). As the lead for Year1 Clinical skills and the Year1 OSCE, work included review and development of the curriculum, writing of assessment materials, administrative tasks and student support. Now embedded in the Advanced Clinical Practice MSc and Degree Apprenticeship programmes, with ongoing interest in Clinical Education.
