St Luke's
The St Luke’s Campus is 15 minutes’ walk from the city centre and just over a mile away from the Streatham Campus across the city. The campus is close to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
Students have studied at St Luke’s Campus for over 150 years and the campus enjoys a vibrant atmosphere in which everyone soon gets to know each other.
As you walk through the arches of the traditional North Cloisters building you will see the lawns of the quadrangle surrounded by modern teaching buildings, including the Medical School building.

RILD Building
The Research, Innovation, Learning and Development (RILD) building is a £27.5m health education and research centre, streamlines the process from discovery to patient care.
The state-of-the-art building, a partnership with the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust (RD&E), is located on the Wonford hospital site close to St Luke’s Campus.
It encompasses the Postgraduate Education Centre, the Wellcome Wolfson Medical Research Centre and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Exeter Clinical Research Facility.
RILD has a strong focus on multi-professional learning and development. Its seminar rooms are used by the Trust’s learning and development team to train managers and a wide range of other non-medical staff.
Our researchers working in the building are making major scientific advances in areas including dementia and diabetes research that are directly improving the life of patients, as well as upskilling tomorrow’s medical professionals across interdisciplinary teams, in state-of-the-art facilities.

Streatham
The Streatham campus, the University’s largest site in Exeter, is built around a country estate overlooking the city and is readily acknowledged as one of the most beautiful in the country.
Students studying Medical Sciences are taught part of their course at the Streatham campus. The campus is about a 25 minute walk to the St Luke's campus, or a short bus ride and buses run frequently.
The campus is also home to the new Living Systems Institute, which pioneers novel approaches to understanding diseases and how they can be better diagnosed.
It has been designed to embed inter-disciplinary research practice and houses 29 research groups, of more than 200 researchers, with complementary expertise in biosciences, medicine, physics, engineering, mathematics and computer science.

Truro
The Truro campus is based at the Knowledge Spa on the Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) site, on the outskirts of Truro.
Our Truro campus is the base for Medical School students studying MSc Environment and Human Health and for a proportion of Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery students during years 3, 4 and 5. It is also the home of the European Centre for Environment & Human Health (ECEHH).

Penryn
The Penryn campus is set in 100 acres of countryside, close to the waterside town of Falmouth, and boasts beautiful views over the Fal estuary.
It is a shared campus with Falmouth University, creating a vibrant mix of students with a wide range of diverse backgrounds and interests.
Our Environment and Sustainability Institute (ESI) is based at Penryn, which brings together state-of-the-art resources with leading academics to pioneer cutting-edge research into solutions to problems of environmental change.
