RILD

The Research, Innovation, Learning and Development (RILD) building is a health education and research centre based at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital in Exeter.

South Cloisters

The South Cloisters building is home to the world-leading Institute of Health Research and also the Medical Imaging programme, which is routinely named as the best of its kind in the country.

Living Systems Institute

The Living Systems Institute is a world-class, next generation, collaborative research community in which the Medical School, along with the other science colleges, play a crucial role.

Clinical trials facilities

Our researchers belong to leading research units and institutes based within the and across the University and NHS.

ESI laboratories

Our researchers share laboratories with the Environment and Sustainability Institute at the Penryn campus.

Knowledge Spa

The Knowledge Spa is located at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro. It is also the home of the European Centre for Environment & Human Health.

Hatherly Laboratories

The Hatherly Laboratories are on the Streatham campus in Exeter.

IBCS laboratories

Some of the IBCS laboratories are based at the Exeter Medical School building on the St Luke's Campus in Exeter.

MRC Centre for Medical Mycology

The MRC CMM is based in the Geoffrey Pope building and spans both the College of Life and Environmental Sciences (CLES) and the College of Medicine and Health (CMH).

The Mireille Gillings Neuroimaging Centre

The Mireille Gillings Neuroimaging Centre provides state of the art MRI scanning for research, clinical diagnosis and therapy and PET scanning for research purposes.

Biomedical Research Centre (BRC)

The new NIHR Exeter Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) is the first of its kind in the South West Peninsula. A partnership between the University and the NHS, the BRC will translate scientific discoveries into tangible benefits for patients.
