Luke graduated from the University of Exeter in 2015 with a degree in Biological Sciences.
Luke currently works as a technician in the NIHR Exeter Clinical Research Facility (CRF) providing technical support to various research studies. Luke’s main responsibilities include processing research samples in the pre-analytics laboratory, sample storage and retrieval (ensuring HTA compliance), specialist laboratory work (including PBMC isolation, liquid handling robotics and microscopy), study setup from the technical side (SOPs, risk assessments, COSHH forms etc.) and stock control for both the CRF and the main research laboratories in the RILD building.
Luke has a keen interest in clinical research and is glad to play a part in the delivery of cutting edge research studies.
