MSci Nursing

Calling all pioneers! Together, we will shape the future of health and social care.

If you want to make a profound difference to the lives of people needing health and social care, and can imagine yourself leading a team in a busy accident and emergency ward, mental health service, hospice or care home, our four-year MSci in Nursing might be the course for you.

Our unique programme gives you the enhanced knowledge, skills, and values required to be a nurse leader with dual registration in adult and mental health nursing. You will graduate with the confidence and competence to respond compassionately and effectively to health and social care needs including cancer, diabetes, arthritis and depression. You will gain sensitive understanding of the fundamentals of care and the relationship between physical and mental health in conditions like eating disorders and dementia.

We educate our nurses to be leaders, pioneers, and professionals, equipped to deal with complex situations like global pandemics. Our nurses are compassionate and courageous, resilient and research-minded, dedicated and ambitious. They are committed to social justice and to leading and delivering the best possible care in all circumstances.
