About me:

I am a MbyRes student in Sport and Health Science within the ExHIBIT group, working with Dr Genevieve Williams and Dr Bert Bond. My research is all about concussions, head impacts, and mild traumatic brain injury, and how these affect our cognitive and motor functions.

My focus is on developing a new pitchside concussion assessment tool that utilises cognitive and motor function. To do this, I am using Python and PsychoPy to develop a short computerised neurocognitive measure of head impact, directly addressing the shortcomings of current concussion assessment tools.

Research Interests:

- Motor control

- Motor learning

- Neurocognition

- Working memory and executive functioning

Qualifications:

BSc Psychology with Neuropsychology, Bangor University, 1st class.

Thesis: The effects of working memory on competitive queueing: the preparation and production of motor sequences.
