Sean Harrison is experienced in using evidence synthesis methods to answer public health and epidemiological research questions. He is also experienced in conducting and analysing a wide range of primary epidemiology studies and statistical methods, including coding analyses in Stata and R. His work has encompassed observational and interventional systematic reviews and meta-analyses on various topics, a wide array of primary studies, ranging from prostate cancer, to cerebral visual impairment-related vision problems in children, to testosterone and socioeconomic position, and Mendelian randomization studies, particularly focussing on causal inference. He worked for UKHSA between 2021 and 2024, producing rapid reviews to inform COVID-19 and all-hazards guidance and policy.
