Dr Jemma Perks is an NIHR Innovation Fellow working across biostatistics, health technology evaluation, and clinical reviewing.
She holds a permanent position at the University of Exeter as a Research Fellow in Medical Statistics within PenTAG, applying evidence synthesis and advanced statistical modelling to assess the clinical and cost effectiveness of medical technologies for NICE and international health agencies. This role affords a budding publication record, project management and consultancy skills, and medical communications experience.
Dr Perks also contributes to the Vascular Research Group at Exeter, drawing on her PhD and post-doctoral expertise in cardiovascular science and exercise physiology, particularly Peripheral Artery Disease.
