Dr Hanbin Zhang

Dr Hanbin Zhang is a Lecturer in Environment and Health at the European Centre for Environment and Human Health (ECEHH) and an exposure scientist. His research focuses how environmental challenges (e.g. air pollution, climate change) can affect human health, and how solutions can be co-create to address these challenges.
Hanbin completed his PhD in Environmental Science at King’s College London, trained at MRC Centre for Environment and Health, worked as a research associate and MRC Early Career Research Fellow at Imperial College London. Before his PhD, he received his postgraduate and undergraduate education from Imperial College London, University College London and City University of Hong Kong.
Hanbin has extensive project experiences in Low-and Middle-Income Countries where high level of inequality exists. His research odten adopts wearable sensors for primary data collection in locations where environmental and health data often do not exist. Currently the geographical focus of his work is in LMICs and Southwest England.
