El isgraduated from the University of Exeter in 2023, with a BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience with a Professional Training Year. In the third year of her four year degree she completed a Professional Training Year supervised by Dr Abby Russell within the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Research Collaboration (ChYMe) at the University of Exeter Medical School.

 

El currently works on the INTEGRATED project - Integrated Parenting Support and Financial Wellbeing Support. This is a programme development grant which is investigating how Parenting Support and Financial Wellbeing Support can be combined.

 

She has also worked on to a range of other projects within ChYMe, organising public engagement events, screening and writing systematic reviews, completing child observations in schools, conducting qualitative interviews, leading patient and public involvement and engagement meetings, and project administration.

 

El previously organised a monthly seminar series for the Children and Young People's Wellbeing @ Exeter Network, with speakers such as Prof. Cathy Creswell and Prof. Sir Al Aynsley-Green Kt.
