Chenguang Wei joined University of Exeter in 2021 as a PhD student in the Applied Physiology, Nutrition, and metabolism group. My PhD is supported jointly by University of Exeter and China Scholarship Council (CSC). My thesis investigates a new nitric oxide biomarker, S-nitrosothiols, in biological samples and explore its correlations with physiological benefits, including cardiovascular health, muscle contractile function, and mitochondrial respiration, arising from dietary nitrate supplementation.
