About me:

Aseel finished her bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Jordan in 2008. She worked in a community pharmacy for a year then she started to work as a teaching assistant at the University of Jordan, during which she finished her master’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Jordan in 2013. In 2015, she was appointed as a lecturer at Isra University in Jordan in pharmacy practice. In 2017, Aseel started her PhD studies at Liverpool John Moores University in the UK and was awarded the degree in 2022. Her PhD focused on enhancing asthma care in adult patients by suggesting an evidence-based and person-centred intervention that could be provided to patients in community pharmacy.

 

Currently, Aseel is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Exeter. In her role, Aseel is leading the qualitative data collection and analysis and development of programme theory.


Interests:

Aseel is interested in health services research, pharmacy practice, long-term condition management, services for older people, asthma services and person-centred care.
