Overview
Stella is a PhD student in the University of Exeter Medical School based in the Primary Care Research Group. Her PhD investigates the current situation of diagnosing binge eating disorder and bulimia nervosa in primary care with a focus on overweight and obese individuals.

Research
Research interests
Stella is interested in how binge eating disorder and bulimia nervosa is diagnosed in primary care and whether overweight/obese individuals are considered for this diagnosis, if yes what process is conducted. Stella is further interested in early-interventions for binge eating disorder and bulimia nervosa.
Stella is also involved in fMRI research with the Department of Psychology which focuses on the neurological pathways of complex cases of personality disorder, eating disorder and functional motor disorder.
