Overview

I am a researcher very passionate about women's health and addressing the gender data gap. A lot of my previous and current research work is in women's health and I'm always very interested in working with other people who share a passion for improving the state of women's health research.

I am a PhD student at the University of Exeter running the PAWES: Physical Activity for Women with Endometriosis Symptoms project. My PhD is investigating the therapeutic benefit of physical activity in women with endometriosis to manage symptoms. This project is funded by the South West Doctoral Training Partnership (SWDTP) funded by the ESRC.

I also work with Dr Gemma Sharp to help run the Menarche, Menstruation, Menopause and Mental Health (4M) Consortium.

In January 2023 I launched the DCWFR: Developing Careers in Women Focused Research network. This network aims to upskill postgraduate research students and early career researchers in any discipline whose research addresses women's needs. The network runs workshops, seminars and events to members across the UK and abroad.
