Overview
Fadhia has qualified as an Indonesian physiotherapist since 2014. She worked for a year in a health clinic before becoming a lecturer at Hasanuddin University, Indonesia. She taught physiotherapy undergraduates and worked as a clinical educator in a geriatric social welfare agency in Indonesia. Fadhia was granted an Indonesian Education scholarship in 2022 to pursue a PhD.
Currently, Fadhia is an international PhD student at the University of Exeter under the supervision of Professor Sallie Lamb, Professor Vicki Goodwin, and Dr Abi Hall. She is broadly interested in the care of older people and physiotherapy interventions to improve mobility, function, and cognition in older adults. Her current research focuses on integrating technology into the development of fall prevention exercise programs for older adults living in the community.

Research interests
Fadhia’s research focuses on fall prevention and rehabilitation of older people. Her PhD project is integrating technology to develop an exercise program for community older adults who are at risk of falling.
