Esra completed her Ph.D. in 2022, which investigated effects of fish oil-derived n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids on the generation and functions of platelet-derived extracellular vesicles. Prior to her Ph.D., she completed an MSc in Nutrition and Food Science and a BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics. She is now a Postdoctoral Associate working within the BioActivEx research group and currently working on the method development to investigate the effects of bioactive compounds on extracellular vesicles.
