Overview

Cassie joined the University of Exeter in April 2022 as a HR Operations Administrator. She is continuing this role alongside her secondment to Administrator for the PROTECT Study. This study aims to understand how the functioning of the brain changes as we age. In particular, the study will look at how certain genes and lifestyle factors (such as exercise or education) affect the way our brain ages. This will provide valuable information about the brain and could inform research to prevent conditions such as dementia. The study is led by Dr Anne Corbett and Prof. Clive Ballard.

Prior to this she worked for Libraries Unlimited and South West Teacher Training.
