Overview

Benjamin is a Health data scientist with a background in Mathematics and Statistics. Prior to joining the University of Exeter in 2023, Benjamin worked as a research fellow at the Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University, where his research mainly focused on longitudinal assessment of environmental exposure and environmental epidemiology.

Benjamin has a PhD in Health Research Methodology, with high-level expertise in data management and analysis, applied statistics and biomedical research. Currently, Benjamin works as a Research Fellow in Statistics and Data Science at the University of Exeter Medical School Primary Care Department.

Qualifications

PhD in Health Research Methodology, 2023- Prince of Songkla University, Pattani, Thailand.

MSc in Applied Mathematics, 2018- Prince of Songkla University, Pattani, Thailand

BSc in Mathematics, 2013-Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.

Research projects

Benjamin is a member of the population-based cardio-metabolic epidemiology and informatics project. The project focuses on two main outcomes. Firstly, Care interventions in the development of heart failure and frailty and their impact on outcomes and secondly the vascular disease and cancer: cohort studies of adult cancer populations and outcomes
