Overview

Abbie Palmer is the Graduate Data Manager for the PROTECT UK study (Platform for Research Online to investigate Genetics and Cognition in Ageing). With a background in mathematics and statistics, she started working at the University of Exeter in September 2021, after graduating with a degree in Mathematics in the summer of 2021.

Abbie’s involvement within the PROTECT UK team consists of conducting database searches, quality checking data and running preliminary summary statistics on the PROTECT UK data. She also works closely with other members of the team (developers, researchers, coordinators etc.) assisting in other areas of the study such as questionnaire creation and working with external collaborators.
