Overview
Having worked as a practitioner across children services (youth offending, fostering and early years), Sharon moved into research to support evidence-based practice. With academic training in Law and Social Studies, her research interests include qualitative methods, multidisciplinary practices, child health and children’s rights and family law.
Sharon currently has an honorary associate role within child health, having recently completed the qualitative analysis of a national study exploring the transition experiences of patients with ADHD moving from child to adult services. This work is currently being written up. She is also providing consultative qualitative support to a project at the University of Plymouth exploring dental care of infants and collaborating with the Law Schools at Exeter and deMontfort University on a qualitative project exploring unregistered marriages in England and Wales.
