Overview

Michelle has worked in the field of clinical research for 12 years, starting her career at the University of Surrey as a Medical Research Officer where she specialised in the field of Sleep Research. This included early and late phase trials looking at the effects of hypnotics and anti-depressants on sleep and day time activity. In 1999, Michelle moved into the Pharma Industry and worked as a Clinical Research Associate for 6 years, specializing in the field of Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease and Oncology in primary and secondary care.  After taking time out to be a full-time Mum, Michelle began her career in 2016 at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust within the Clinical Research Network, where she initially provided administrative support specialising in studies in Surgery, Gastroenterology, and Oncology. In 2019, Michelle got the opportunity to work at the Clinical Research Facility as a Clinical Research Administrator working on early phase studies.
