Overview
After completing a challenging three-year undergraduate degree in Warwick, Jinxia worked as a laboratory researcher in a biomedical company in China. During this year's work, she assisted in the research and development of prostate cancer drugs, and successfully won the third prize in China innovation and entrepreneurship competition with this project. She decided to devote herself to research again this year, so she came to Exeter to continue her research on anti-prostate cancer drugs. These interests fit very well with the supervisor’s research lab which explores new therapies for prostate cancer.
