Mr Theo Holland
Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Public Health and Sport Sciences
Theo is a Research Fellow in Modelling for Health Economics and Public Health at the Peninsula Technology Assessment Group (PenTAG). His primary role involves supporting health technology assessments (HTAs) that inform decision making by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
Theo's research interests centre on how best to capture structural uncertainty in decision-analytic models, and on identifying the role of AI in supporting and improving health technology assessment. More broadly, he is interested in economic modelling and evaluation, and in how the methods and frameworks developed within HTA might be extended to decision problems in other sectors.
Theo has 5 years of prior experience as a HEOR Consultant at Acumetis (previously known as FIECON) and YHEC. He has worked across a range of HTA submissions, including those for NICE, SMC, and ZIN, managing economic models and the submissions. Theo also has experience in clinician engagement through leading Delphi panels and structured expert elicitations.
