Public Health
Princess Kisi is a PhD student funded by the GW4 MRC Doctoral Training Partnership, researching the epidemiology of thunderstorm asthma in the UK under climate change scenarios. She holds a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of East Anglia and an MSc in Toxicology from the University of Birmingham, where her research examined the association between PM2.5 exposure and increased expression of the ACE2 receptor, with implications for COVID-19 morbidity. Prior to starting her PhD, she worked for three years in regulatory toxicology across the pesticide and medical device sectors, and later as an Environmental Public Health Scientist at the UK Health Security Agency, specialising in air pollution toxicology.
