Dr Penny Xanthopoulou

About me:

I studied Psychology at East London University, London School of Economics and Loughborough University. After completing my PhD, I was a Research Associate, based at Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, University College London, working on various health services research projects. In 2015, I joined the Mental Health Research Group at the University of Exeter Medical School as a Research Fellow.

Interests and expertise:

-Mental health, Psychology, Psychiatry

-Qualitative Research; Intervention design

-Patient experience and clinical communication

-Police response to mental health crises
