Mrs Naomi Johnston

I am a Senior Clinical skills tutor and the lead for Clinical skills BMBS in Exeter. 

I am an experienced practitioner, with an MSc in Advanced nursing practice-child. I am a Registered nurse -child, Registered specialist community public health nurse-health visitor, nurse independent / supplementary prescriber. I am a fellow of the higher education academy. I have held various clinical and managerial roles in the NHS working in both the acute and community paediatric healthcare settings. I have held posts in higher education as a practice educator, Senior Lecturer/clinical skills tutor and senior lecturer in children’s nursing.

My professional interests are in patient safety and human factors. Clinical skills and simulation teaching. Communication skills. Clinical decision making. Medicines management.
