PhD student at the University of Exeter in neuroelectrophysiology and neuropharmacology. My PhD project investigates the effects of the serotonergic system on the firing properties of neurons in the insular cortex, an area of the brain particularly important in the pathology of a number of psychiatric conditions, such as anxiety, depression, schizophrenia and addiction.

MSci Neuroscience graduate at the University of Southampton. My Master's project focused on spinal cord injury repair. I utilised PTEN knock-out PC-12 cell cultures transfected with a range of integrins to investigate axonal growth in inhibitory substrates, such as fibronectin, a core component of the extracellular matrix found in soluble form in human blood.
