Postgraduate Researcher
Sport and Health Sciences

I am currently a PhD student at the Children’s Health and Exercise Research Centre, University of Exeter, working with England Athletics on injury prevention in youth athletics, with a focus on improving the health and wellbeing of young athletes. My work sits at the intersection of sport, health, and behaviour change, with a strong interest in developing evidence-based strategies that can be translated into practical solutions for coaches, athletes, and practitioners.

The thing I care about most is turning research into practice—making sure what we find in science doesn’t just stay in papers, but actually makes a real difference in the real world.

At the end of the day, I am deeply grateful for the support of the Guangzhou Elite Talent Programme and the University of Exeter’s Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, which funds and supports my doctoral journey.

(My supervisor always reminds me to keep things concise but a bit more interesting… so I guess you can kind of feel that here, right? 😊)
