Postgraduate Researcher
Sport and Health Sciences

I am currently a PhD student at the Children’s Health and Exercise Research Centre, University of Exeter, where my doctoral research is conducted in collaboration with England Athletics. My work focuses on exploring injury prevention in youth track and field athletes, with the ultimate goal of enhancing overall wellbeing and developing evidence-based strategies that can be effectively implemented in real-world training and competition settings. Before beginning my PhD, I developed a strong foundation in interdisciplinary research through diverse projects, ranging from examining exercise interventions for university students’ physical health and mobile phone addiction to designing rehabilitation programmes for female methamphetamine addicts within drug recovery settings. I am particularly passionate about translating research into practice by bridging the gap between clinical evidence and athletic performance. Through my current work, I aim to provide actionable insights for coaches, sports organisations, and health professionals, helping them create safer training environments that not only reduce injury risk but also support the long-term health and performance of young athletes.
