Dr Luci Richards is Senior Lecturer in Medical Humanities at the University of Exeter and leads the Medical Humanties programme at the University of Exeter Medical School with Dr Sarah Ashley. Luci is also a Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist working in Cancer Medicine and an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Kings Collge London / Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience.
Luci has been involved in Medical Humanities education and research at various medical schools in the UK (Exeter, KCL, Imperial, Brunel) and Singapore and has a PGCert in Clinical Education.
Luci has a special interest in Psycho-oncology, Design in Healthcare, Dance Movement Psychotherapy, Perinatal Psychiatry, Addictions Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine.
Before studying Medicine, Luci completed an undergraduate degree in Human Sciences at Oxford University and then worked in the media at the BBC, National Geographic Channel and Oxford Scientific Films.
Luci is a printmaker and has sold artworks in the UK and Singapore.
