About me:

Kevin is an Associate Professor of Medical Education and a senior member of the Medicial School's academic teaching faculty. Having joined the teaching facutly of the Peninsua Medical School at Exeter in 2007, he became Technology Enhanced Learning Lead for the University of Exeter Medical School (UEMS) in 2012 and led the development of BMBS virtual learning enviroment. During the COVID-19 pandemic Kevin was part of an cross institution expert goup advising on digital teaching and learning. In addition, he has been active in supporting colleagues accross the institution as an ASPIRE Mentor for the professional recognition programme.  

 

Kevin has a background in pharmacology and supports teaching on this topic in the BMBS and Medical sciences programmes. In addition to his undergraduate teaching, Kevin also contributes to the teaching on our Master of Clinical Education programme. Leading sessions on the "Teaching in a Digital World" and "Assessing Learning" modules.

 

.Invited faculty at the Harvard Macy institute (2015-19), he contributed to the course, Healthcare Educators 2.0: Transforming your teaching for the Digital Age.

 

Alongside his work at Exeter, Kevin is currently Director-Membership of the Association for the Study of Medical Educaion (ASME).

He Joined the Medical school in 2007 having previously worked at the University of Bristol.
