I am a physiotherapist and academic researcher with extensive clinical and teaching experience in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation, with a particular interest in stroke recovery. My work is dedicated to advancing digital health including telerehabilitation solutions for people post-stroke. In addition to hands-on clinical practice, I have contributed as an assistant lecturer in physiotherapy at faculty of physical therapy, Cairo University, and as a research assistant on many projects focused on developing innovative wearable technologies and rehabilitation interventions.

My professional journey is deeply rooted in a commitment to improving rehabilitation outcomes and informing evidence-based practice. I have a strong passion for research that is responsive to the needs and priorities of patients, and I consistently prioritize Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) across all facets of my work. By integrating the voices of patients, carers, and the wider community, I strive to ensure that my research not only advances scientific knowledge but also has a meaningful and lasting impact on real-world rehabilitation practices. My goal is to bridge the gap between research, clinical care, and patient experiences, fostering a more inclusive and effective approach to rehabilitation.

Telerehabilitation in neurological conditions and with multimorbid elderly patients especially stroke survivors.
