Ellie is a PhD student studying cerebrovascular health and exercise in stroke populations. Exploring the during exercise cerebrovascular responses and the potential acute effects of exercise on cerebral and peripheral vascular outcomes. Ellie is also the Project Lead for the Action After Stroke programme, supporting people regain and maintain mobility following a stroke or other brain injury.
Ellie completed an MSc in Sport and Health Science with the University of Exeter in 2023. Her dissertation focused on the cerebrovascular response to sprint interval exercise in young healthy adults.
Prior to this, she was a comissioned officer in the RAF where she worked with all services in various locations around the country and abroad.
