Miranda works flexibly, dividing her time equally between postdoctoral research and clinical practice. Her dedicated research days are typically Mondays and Fridays.

Miranda is an NIHR-funded Clinical Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She completed her PhD at the University of Oxford, where she used routinely collected hospital data to investigate the association between socioeconomic disadvantage and adverse maternal health outcomes in high-income countries.
