Dr. Abdullah Yonis is a PhD candidate in Clinical Trial Methodology at the University of Exeter Medical School and a researcher at the Exeter Clinical Trials Unit. With over a decade of clinical and research experience, he has worked as a clinician in the UK and overseas in internal medicine, critical care, and emergency medicine. Dr. Yonis also served as a Research Fellow in clinical trials, contributing as an investigator in cardiology and metabolic studies within the NHS and Clinical Research Organizations (CROs). Additionally, he has undergone specialist training in pharmaceutical medicine, further enriching his expertise in drug development and clinical trial methodology. His research focuses on improving the design, conduct, and reporting of randomized controlled trials (RCTs), with a particular interest in the role of blinding in complex interventions.
