About me:
Anna completed her PhD at the University of Nottingham in 2022. She explored medical students’ well-being during the transition through clinical training using realist methodology.
Anna’s background is in occupational psychology (the psychology of work and organisations). Before completing her PhD, Anna worked for an occupational psychology research consultancy, working on projects in different sectors, including medical education.
Anna is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Exeter. She is leading the Resident Doctor Retention project with Professor Karen Mattick, which is an NIHR-funded realist synthesis. She previously worked on the Care Under Pressure 3 project, which was a realist evaluation of interventions to support hospital doctors’ mental health and well-being at work.
