I'm a Trauma & Orthopaedic Registrar on the Health Education South West Training programme. I'm studying towards my Doctorate (MD) for research into revision knee replacement surgery. My core Exeter supervisors are Professor Andrew Toms, Mr Jonathan P Evans, Mr Jonathan T Evans and Professor Sallie Lamb, I am also supervised by Professor Andrew Price at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. My Doctorate is funded by NHS England and the Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) initiative. Professor Tim Briggs and Dr William Gray are my supervisors from GIRFT. My doctoral thesis title is "understanding the impact of minimum volume thresholds for hospital and surgeons delivering revision knee replacements". My research uses data from the National Joint Registry and Hospital Episode Statistics.
