Aritra Chakrabarty

I’m an policy scholar and educator in Science, Technology and Society Studies (STS) domain and climate policy, with over a decade of interdisciplinary experience in South Asia, the United States and the United Kingdom. My work focuses on just energy transitions through the lens of gender equity, and social justice. In practice, my academic scholarship is combined with applied policy consulting. I have designed and led cross-institutional programs, taught undergraduate and graduate-level courses, and contributed to national and local energy policy efforts. Proficient in mixed-methods research, stakeholder engagement, and grant writing, I translate complex datasets into actionable insights for government, nonprofit, and academic audiences.
