About me:

My research interest is maternal and child health. My current project focuses on the role of the birth interval, the maternal weathering hypothesis, and its associated factors. My project seeks to understand the role of birth interval and maternal weathering hypothesis as protective factors of child health. The study explores the impact of the intersectionality of ethnicity by different maternal ages, wealth indexes, educational attainments, and other significant factors on child malnutrition status. 

I am currently pursuing my PhD in the field of Medical Statistics at the University of Exeter, UK with the Commonwealth Scholarship. I have been working as an Assistant Professor in Statistics Discipline at Khulna University, Bangladesh since 2018. I supervised undergrad students on their projects, and I have been involved in doing research with multidisciplinary areas such as epidemiology, biostatistics, survival analysis, and demography.
