About me:

I am a the co-director for the MSc in Extreme Medicine and senior clinical lecturer on the MSc Clinical Pharmacy, MSc Advance Clinical Practice and Global Health Leadership and Management courses..

 

I have been involved in teaching undergraduate medical students since 1994 at the University of Cambridge, and have worked at Peninsular Medical School and the UEMS as an academic tutor, SSU provider alongside working as a GP trainer and writing several post graduate medical exam texts. I undertook the MSc in Clinical Education in 2019 and am now predominantly teaching post graduate taught courses and supervising MSc research projects. I am also a member of the team that developed the International Principles of Primary Care course. I work clincially as a General Practitioner and in urgent care, and teach nurses and clinical officers for PHASE Nepal in a voluntary capacity. I have previoulsy worked in Ear, Nose and Throat medicine and in leadership and commissioning roles within the NHS and am a vocational trainer and have been an MRCGP examiner in the past.
