About me:

Charlotte is a PhD student in the University of Exeter Medical School based in the Primary Care Research Group. Her PhD investigates the benefits, drawbacks and mechanisms of remote group-based interventions for the prevention and management of chronic physical conditions, to deliver primary care in a post-pandemic world.

Interests:

Charlotte is interested in how both group-based and virtual healthcare appointments impact upon patients and healthcare providers, including any benefits and drawbacks of this, and how these sessions operate to achieve effective delivery of care. Other research interests include the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on access to healthcare, particularly relating to health inequality. Her current PhD research is situated within primary care and aims to understand these factors, and relates specifically to chronic physical conditions in adults.
