About me:

Anthony Martyr is a founding member of the Centre for Research in Ageing and Cognitive Health (REACH). Anthony is a Senior Research Fellow working on the NIHR Policy Research Unit in Dementia and Neurodegeneration (DeNPRU Exeter). 

 

Previously he was a co-investigator and researcher on the Improving the experience of Dementia and Enhancing Active Life (IDEAL and IDEAL-2) projects, which was a ten-year longitudinal cohort study of the experiences of 1537 people with dementia and 1277 primary carers throughout England, Scotland and Wales. The project ran between 2014 and 2023 and investigated the quality of life and well-being of people with dementia and their carers over six years.

Activities of daily living, cognition, executive function, memory, dementia, awareness, neuropsychology, meta-analysis, systematic reviews
