About me:

My job title within the Relational Health Group is Data Manager. Since Sept 2025, my key role has been the data, ethics and governance manager for the NIHR-funded Public Health Intervention Responsive Studies Team (PHIRST) EMPower. We aim to evaluate up to 10 public health initiatives commissioned by local authorities over 5 years which will build up the evidence base for local government to inform future decision-making around health-related issues.

.

For the last year, I have been supporting the GREENGAGE pilot trial by designing and managing their online surveys and database. This project is being conducted at the European Centre for Environment and Human Health, and will provide research evidence about health and wellbeing benefits of the natural environment, thus impacting on policy making decisions.

Collaborating with my relational health colleagues, I have carried out scoping reviews, produced tables and written up results as publications. Furthermore, I have successfully supervised undergraduates with their research projects and continue to assist colleagues with various data and teaching needs.

Previously I have worked with several large Randomised Controlled Trials within the Child Health group including the Healthy Lifestyle Programme (HeLP) and the Helping Children Achieve (HCA) study.
