Master of Public Health Launch
Planetary Health is an emerging discipline poised to meet the challenges of our time. Beyond the threat of climate change, human impacts on biodiversity, the global food production system and worsening pollution all pose important threats to human health and wellbeing.
This virtual event is to celebrate the launch of the University of Exeter’s new Master of Public Health (MPH) and will be introduced by the programme lead, Prof G.J. Melendez-Torres. Prof Lora Fleming will then interview Prof Sir Andy Haines about his trailblazing work establishing the field of Planetary Health, before answering your questions what the next impacts on human health will be due to our disruptions of Earth’s natural systems.
