About me:
Tom read medicine at the University of Edinburgh and intercalated with an honours degree in Pharmacology. Subsequently completed an Academic Foundation training post and core surgical training in Yorkshire and London before moving to the South West for higher surgical training in General Surgery, sub-specialising in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. He undertook an MD at the University of Exeter with Professor Nick Stone, and was subsequently an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer. He undertook a National Oncoplastic TIG fellowship before moving back to Exeter where he is now a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Exeter, currently undertaking an NIHR Biomedical Research Centre Mid-Career Fellowship.
