Miss Siyi Wang

Siyi is a research assistant at the University of Exeter, where her work focuses on GWAS of epigenetic age acceleration.

Siyi completed a BSc in Veterinary Pharmacy at the Nanjing Agriculture University in China. During this time, she was immersed in cell biology and conducted an independent research project about exosomes. Subsequently, she completed her MSc in Bioinformatics with distinction at the University of Glasgow, where she focused on her thesis project about the integration of scRNAseq data and bulk RNAseq data. She was granted Scotland’s Saltire Scholarship and The Best Bioinformatics Project during her MSc study.
