About me:
I completed my undergraduate Chemistry degree with an Integrated masters and Year in Industry in 2019 at the University of Leeds. From here, I moved to the University of Edinburgh where I completed my PhD, working on optimising islet transplantation outcomes through the use of drug-loaded microparticles in preclinical studies of type 1 diabetes, working with Professor Shareen Forbes.
Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral research associate with Dr. Joanne Boldison, looking at deciphering how B cells contribute to the onset of type 1 diabetes.
