Dr Susan Martin is a Lecturer in Genomic Medicine and Research Fellow at the University of Exeter Medical School. Her main research interest involves identifying genetic and clinical factors affecting HbA1c levels independently of other glycaemic traits, and how these factors impact the reliability of HbA1c as a diagnostic tool for type 2 diabetes.
Susan is a Lecturer on the Msc in Genomic Medicine and the asynchronous online MSc in Genomic Medicine.
