Szi Kay Leung

Szi Kay is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Exeter Medical School in the Complex Disease Epigenomics Group, led by Professor Jonathan Mill. With a background in wet-lab biochemistry and expertise in bioinformatics, her research aims to understand the transcriptomic and splicing dysregulation of Alzheimer's disease using long-read sequencing, 

She graduated with an integrated master's degree in Biochemistry from University of Oxford, where she took a particular interest in neuroscience, before undertaking her PhD in functional genomics at the University of Exeter.
