Dr Robin Beaumont

I am a Senior Research Fellow in the Genetics of Complex Traits Group. My research focusses on understanding the genetic architeccture of human traits using large population studies such as the UK Biobank and All of Us cohorts. My current work looks at developing statistical methods and analysis frameworks and pipelines for understanding the effects of rare genetic variants using large-scale whole genome sequence data. My experience in statistical genetics with a background in Mathematics enables me to develop and apply computational methods and pipelines in large datasets to understand the role of genetics in complex traits. I am also a member of the Early Growth Genetics (EGG) consortium.
